Having a Grateful Heart

In our lives it is so easy to get swept up in achieving daily errands and working - that it is so easy to take things for granted. I do this in my own life, and I find my self questioning why I feel tired or stuck in the routine of things, but then I remember that no matter what, we have so much in our lives. Its the little things and the big things, such as the warm sun shining through your windows in the morning, a roof over your head, access to three meals a day, access to water, and so much more. So I try to think of three things I am grateful for each day, it may be your friends and family, your dog, and most of all being truly LOVED by our heavenly father! By positioning our hearts to a spirit of gratefulness, we have this new perspective upon our life! This allows you to rest and acknowledge His providence in your life. So my friend, may you remember how blessed and fully loved you are!

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV) – “Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Psalm 100:4  Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
